Establishment of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA)
1433 AH
Establishment of a public authority named the General Education Evaluation Commission.
1437 AH
The name of the Commission was amended to the Education Evaluation Commission, and it assumed the tasks and responsibilities related to the evaluation and assessment of general and higher education and training, with specialized centers merged into it.
1439 AH
Establishment of the National Center for Training Evaluation and Accreditation (Masar) to provide accreditation for training institutions in both the public and private sectors.
1440 AH
Approval of the regulation of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC).
1443 AH
The Council of Ministers directed the Board of Directors of the Commission to establish a center for the accreditation of military education and training institutions and their programs.
